Why use Moonya from ChatGPT
ChatGPT is great at words. Moonya adds what ChatGPT cannot do on its own: it knows your brand from your website, designs the slides in your colors and fonts, keeps a calendar and publishes to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and more.

- Brand Brain. Read and update what Moonya knows about your brand, analyse your website, add a PDF or DOCX brand document and save rules every future post follows.
- Posts and drafts. Get topic ideas, then create carousels, single image posts and Stories from a topic or from your own text. The slides come back as images.
- Review and schedule. Edit captions, hashtags and slide text, rewrite a draft from a plain instruction, change a slide photo, then approve, schedule, skip or move posts, up to 30 at once.
- Your own photos and videos. Use your Gallery, schedule up to 10 of your own photos at once and invite up to 3 Instagram collaborators on a feed post, carousel or Reel.
- Automations. Recurring post automations that create drafts on a schedule, plus comment-to-DM automations for Instagram and Facebook with results.
- Inbox and analytics. Read messages, comments and reviews, reply as the brand after you approve the exact text, and see reach, engagement, best time and top posts.
- Video. Reels from your clips or photos with a voiceover, a talking AI presenter and animated explainers: you see the script and the credit price before anything renders. Video tools appear when video is enabled for your workspace.
- Agencies. On the Agency plan one connection can cover all client brands. Say which brand you mean and Moonya switches, keeping brands strictly separate.
Connect Moonya to ChatGPT in 3 steps
Before you start
- A Moonya account with an active plan or the 7-day trial for $1. Every plan includes the AI assistant connector.
- ChatGPT with access to custom connectors. You sign in to Moonya in a window during setup, so there is no key to copy.
- To publish, at least one social network connected in Moonya. Drafts work without one.

- Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced → turn on Developer mode (Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise, on the web)
- Click "Create", paste the address below and choose OAuth as Authentication
- Sign in to Moonya and click "Allow" – ChatGPT does not take API keys, only sign-in

Things to ask in ChatGPT
Write in your own words, in English or Serbian. Here is what happens behind each request.
“Schedule my latest product photos from the Gallery for Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6 pm.”
Moonya schedules up to 10 of your own photos at the times you agree. Asking for it is your approval, so they go straight to the calendar.
“Write five caption ideas for our autumn sale, then make the best one into a single image post.”
ChatGPT drafts the ideas, you pick one, Moonya shows the cost and creates the post in your brand style.
“How did Instagram do last month? Which post reached the most people?”
Moonya returns reach and engagement per network, the best time to post and your top posts as a small table.
“Show me new comments on our last Reel and suggest replies.”
Moonya reads the comments. A reply is sent only after you approve its exact text.
“Create a weekly automation: an educational carousel every Tuesday at 9 am.”
Moonya saves a recurring automation. Each post it creates waits as a draft for your approval.
Your photos and videos
ChatGPT cannot pass a file from your computer to Moonya. Upload photos and videos to the Moonya Gallery in the app (drag and drop works), then come back and ask ChatGPT to use them. A photo from a public link can be added straight from the chat.
Good to know
- Nothing is published without your approval. New posts and videos are drafts. They go out only after you approve or schedule them, in ChatGPT or in the Moonya app.
- Credits are confirmed first. Tools that cost credits tell you the exact cost and wait for your yes. A repeated request never charges twice. Drafts take 2 to 4 minutes, and ChatGPT checks back until the draft is ready.
- Irreversible actions ask first. Publishing right now, deleting and replying to a message, comment or review need your confirmation.
- Posting limits protect your accounts. Moonya spaces out posts on the same network and moves a post to the nearest safe time when needed, and tells you why.
- Plans. The connector is included in Starter ($29), Pro ($79) and Agency ($199) per month, each with a 7-day trial for $1. Some video formats unlock once the trial ends and the plan is paid. See pricing.
- You stay in control of access. Remove the connector in ChatGPT or revoke access in Moonya under Settings, AI assistants (MCP) at any time. Moonya does not read your chat history.
Troubleshooting
- You do not see Developer mode. It is in Settings, Apps and Connectors, Advanced, on paid ChatGPT plans (Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise) and on the web.
- ChatGPT asks for an API key. Choose OAuth as the authentication. ChatGPT does not take API keys, only the Moonya sign-in.
- New Moonya features are missing. Open a new chat. ChatGPT loads the tool list when a conversation starts, and the old chat keeps working as before.
- A tool returns an error. Moonya explains the fix in plain words and gives a link when the fix needs the browser, for example connecting a network or billing.
FAQ
Can I schedule Instagram posts from ChatGPT?
Yes. Once Moonya is connected you can create posts, approve them and schedule them for a time you choose, for Instagram and the other networks you connected in Moonya.
Which ChatGPT plan do I need?
Adding a custom connector currently needs Developer mode, which is available on paid ChatGPT plans (Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise) on the web.
Does Moonya read my ChatGPT history?
No. Moonya only receives the requests sent to its tools. For each call it logs the tool name, workspace, result and duration, without the content you sent.
Will ChatGPT post without my approval?
No. Everything Moonya creates is a draft until you approve or schedule it. Publishing immediately, deleting and inbox replies always ask you first.
